Nissan Navara: Performance of Four wheels
Author: Webmaster Significant tax savings associated with the Navara have made it an appealing
proposition amongst buyers. Nissan Navara is available in both petrol and diesel
versions. It has a 17 bhp 2.5-liter engine that gives it enough muscle to carry
heavy loads or negotiate muddy slopes. Buyers can choose from an automatic
five-speed gearbox or a manual six-speed version. In our opinion, the standard
six-speed manual gearbox is a better option.
Some of the bases models of the Nissan Navara do not have air
conditioning but if you opt for the Standard Edition, you can get enhanced
features like alloy wheels, dual zone climate control, electrically adjustable
door mirrors, central locking, and CD players.
If you opt for the Nissan Aventura 2.5 dci Double cab, you will be mesmerized by
its features. Living to its status in the SUV segment, this model comes with DVD
satellite navigation, up market audio/CD system, hands free phone operation,
electric sunroofs, automatic headlights, and wipers. Other standard features
like fog lamps, alloy wheels, anti-lock braking, and cruise control features are
also included in this model. All premium models of the Nissan Navara come with
electrically adjustable leather seats along with privacy glass and cruise
control features. Cruise control features control the motion of a motor vehicle
enabling it to move at the set predefined speed.
In terms of safety features, the Nissan Navara does not lag behind its
predecessors and has all the standard safety features, which you can expect from
a Nissan product. However, some buyers would find it a little short on legroom.
However, this drawback is not much of a problem as it is not a family car and is
well suited for commercial purposes. The Nissan Navara enjoys immense
popularity in the second hand market as well and it aims to give Toyota a run
for its money in the Western Australia Car market.
